Getting STarted
How do I apply for pay at close?
You can apply when paying for your invoice.
- On the checkout screen, choose ‘Pay at close’.
- Enter a phone # to sign up
- Complete a short application
- Once approved, the financing company will send funds to pay for the staging
- You’ll repay the funds at closing
Will applying affect my credit score?
No. Our financing company only performs a soft credit check during the application process for pre-qualification purposes, so there’s no impact on credit score when applying or using funds.
What are the criteria to get approved?
- An active, signed listing agreement in place
- Minimum 640 credit score
- Homeowners must have at least 20% equity in the home
- Agents must have an active real estate license in the state
How much will I qualify for?
Homeowners can qualify for either $25,000 or $50,000 depending on how much equity they have in the home.
Agents can qualify for 1.5% of list price, up to $25,000.
Once approved, you can use as little or as much as you’d like. You will only pay back the amount you use plus your Pay at Close fee.
What are the fees?
All rates are a flat fee and range from 0-8%, depending on credit score.
Example: You qualify for a Pay at Close rate of 4%. You spend $1,000. The repayment amount will be $1,040 ($1,000 + 4% flat fee of $40).
Can I use my Pay at Close funds for other listing expenses?
Yes. You can log into your funds account with the phone number you originally signed up with.
Once in your funding dashboard, you can pay for other listing prep such as:
- Painting
- Repairs
- Updates
- Marketing
Repayment
When are funds due?
When you choose to Pay at Close, you are starting a 6-month loan that will be due at the earliest of the following:
- The home sells
- The home has not been actively listed for sale within 60 days
- The listing is canceled or withdrawn
- Six months have passed since the date of application
How do I repay through closing?
Once the home goes into contract, you’ll add the contact information for the company handling the closing.
To add closing details:
- Go to your funding account
- Log in with the phone number you originally used to sign up
- Click the button that says “Add Closing Info”
- Add details for the title, escrow, or attorney handling your closing
Once this is received, a payoff invoice will automatically be emailed to the closing team.
Can I repay outside of closing?
Yes. You can repay at any time through your funding account.
- Log in to your funding account
- Click on Repay Now
- Follow the prompts to repay by ACH or debit card
There are no prepayment penalties for repaying your loan prior to the close date.
What if the home doesn't sell?
If the home hasn’t sold by the time funds are due, you can either repay in full or work with the financing company to set up a repayment plan.
For agents, you can opt to roll the amount due over to another active listing. Additional fees may apply.
What happens if I fail to repay the loan?
If you default on the loan or fail to repay, the financing company may report the delinquency to credit bureaus, which could negatively affect your credit.
